Earlier this week Renee Peggs wrote an great story about University of Notre Dame recruiting coordinator and running backs coach Tony Alford.  The story linked here is not about x’s and o’s but in a time where the relationships that he has built with his current and former players.  We strongly recommend that you go and read the full story.

However the piece that really stuck out to us, was the Strong and True – A Brother’s Promise short film that is also displayed above the fold of the Alford story.  It highlights the commitment that Tony Alford made to his brother, and how he still keeps that commitment even after his brother’s unexpected passing.
